About

Our website’s purpose is simple: to ask the question every US civilian thinks about. Extremism in the US military has been a growing concern in recent years, with incidents of white supremacist and other extremist ideologies being identified among service members. The Department of Defense has acknowledged this issue and has taken steps to address it, including implementing new training programs and policies to combat extremism within the ranks. These efforts have become more urgent following the storming of the US Capitol on January 6, 2021, by individuals with military backgrounds and ties to extremist groups. Why does it remains an ongoing challenge for the military to uphold its values of diversity and inclusion while rooting out extremist beliefs among its personnel?
